Wedding Date: 4/26/2014
Lost Mission is an absolutely amazing venue. We planned our wedding in less than 56 days at Lost Mission. The convenience of having the chapel and the reception hall all in one location makes the day less stressful. All your wedding photography can also be taken onsite as the location, architecture, running stream and grounds are breath-taking.
In addition our reception/dinner was inside the reception hall and the bands were located on the reception patio all for the same price. The drapes and fire wall are stunning and well worth the additional charge.
You will feel at home with Lon and Sara of Lost Mission as they make you feel like family and truly care that your day is special. They are very easy going and were always there with us from start to finish.
There was not one issue with our wedding, if we had to do it all over again, I would not change one thing. I would happily recommend Lost Mission. It is picture perfect and will provide memories that will last a lifetime for both the bride and groom and their guests.

My daughter was married at Lost Mission this past Saturday, July 12, 2014!! I could not have been more pleased, the venue is stunning and Sara and her staff are so accommodating! My husband and I were so blown away, it was ALL beyond our wildest expectations!! I want to tell everyone that if you want a beautiful, special , one of a kind place, then Lost Mission is your place! Do it, you won't regret it!!! From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew it was the one for us, it really has a romantic, peaceful, amazing feel! The chapel, like a dream! Brides room, stunning, it even smells fantastic!! I mean it, if it is available on your date, book it!!! Or, change your date!!!!! Love, love , love, Lost Mission! Heather B.

As parents of the bride, we can't say enough about how pleased we were with our overall experience at Lost Mission. The facilities and grounds are beautiful, well maintained and they easily handled the 230 guests who were in attendance.
Even more importantly, it was a pleasure to work with the ownership and staff of Lost Mission as we planned and prepared for the wedding. Lon, the owner, was always responsive, flexible, and was very committed to making sure we were satisfied. He definitely went "the extra mile" on several occasions to ensure we were happy with the facility and the contractual agreements. Sara, the general manager, is excellent at her job. She was always extremely professional,kind, patient and helpful as we worked through the months of planning. Her assistant, Hailey, was also kind, patient, responsive and very enthusiastic. Even the teenagers working the parking lot and golf carts the evening of the wedding were very well mannered and went out of their way to ensure every guest was safely taken care of.
While Lost Mission may not be the least expensive venue, we found it to be an excellent value. Having the chapel completely removed the anxiety of bad weather. Sure enough we had thunderstorms the day and evening of the wedding but there was no impact to our plans and no worrying about weather at all. We also found the linens, dishes and silverware and beautiful draping in the reception hall were all very high quality and helped make the evening very elegant. In addition, the guests all loved the firewall!
The facilities are also well laid out for the other vendors. Without exception, all of our vendors, including the caterer, florist and photographer, were very happy with the facilities and their working relationship with the Lost Mission management and staff.
We would highly recommend Lost Mission to anyone considering a wedding venue in the Texas hill country.

Lost Mission was a beautiful place for our daughter's wedding! The staff including Lon, Sara and Hailey were fantastic and helped us through the wedding process from the first moment we met with them until the end of the reception. The most important part of the event was that the bride and groom were so happy!! The chapel was perfect and the reception area was spacious and held our guests perfectly. We had plenty of room for dining and dancing. Many of our guests commented on what a fun and beautiful wedding it was. We were extremely happy with Lost Mission and would recommend it for your special occasion. Please contact them. You will be happy that you did!

My husband and I recently got married at lost mission. We loved this venue because of the chapel and reception hall. Everyone who came to our wedding was in awe of this beautiful place. On top of that, Sara, Lon, Hailey and all the staff are an incredible help. They do a great job communicating with you and making sure every last detail is correct. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place with lots of room. Thank you for making me wedding day so special!

We had a phenomenal wedding thanks to Sara and Hailey! I can't tell you how fortunate I was to work with these two ladies. They perfected all the details that I had visioned and more. I didn't have to worry about a single thing on my wedding day thanks to their help.
In addition, it was truly reassuring to work with a venue who promptly answered all of my questions and concerns when I had no idea what I was doing.
On the day of the wedding we had so many guests come up and tell us how beautiful Lost Mission was, and I couldn't agree more.
The curtains and firewall we had at our wedding added a warm & romantic ambiance to the venue. But even if we had not had them in the wedding, it would've looked
just as beautiful!
We look forward to returning one day and witnessing another wedding!

Since the very first day we drove thru the gates at Lost Mission, I knew I had to have my wedding there! The hospitality you receive from Sara and everyone at Lost Mission is amazing, she always answered phone calls and emails, immediately which is a plus. The venue and chapel itself are breath taking. I still have people calling and saying how beautiful everything was, and how FABULOUS the firewall was! Also, ladies if you like room when you are getting ready the bridal suite is very roomy and they keep it COLD!! I'm very pleased with my overall experience with Lost Mission. I'm already telling my engaged friends they need to have their weddings there! Thank you, Sara for allowing us to have such a beautiful wedding at the perfect venue.

When we visited the venue we fell in love with the place. The chapel is gorgeous and the ballroom is quite large. The staff is really helpful and works with you throughout your process. I highly recommend this place.

I will preface this review by stating that we booked the venue and planned the wedding in right under 2 months. Many of our guests were pleasantly surprised because having planned a wedding in such a short time, and it was still amazing. Everyone was blown away! Yes, Lost Mission, is on the pricey side as venues go, but it's so nice not to have to worry about going to a church ceremony and then have to drive to the reception place at a different venue. Our ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful. The only way to describe Lost Mission is that it's a wedding wonderland. I will say that when we first saw Lost Mission's price, we thought it was not bad, but then there are a few extras that are a la carte that are not included in the initial pricing :/ The great thing about the venue is that it is such a beautiful place that you can get away with not spending a whole lot on flowers/decor and save on that portion of the wedding budget. We also hired Sara and Hailey, Lost Mission day of coordinators, (extra cost) and they did a fabulous job helping everything run smoothly. And that is saying a lot because I am one of the most unorganized people I know. To summarize, yes pricey, but absolutely worth it!

The venue was perfect! We received so many complements! Sara and Hailey were so helpful. They were so cooperative with our other vendors, it took a lot of pressure off us. We used Sara and Hailey as day of coordinators as well and they were reasonably priced for the assistance they provided. I would not have changed a thing!

I am so thankful to everyone at Lost Mission for all of their hard work and dedication to make my wedding day perfect. From the first visit to the wedding day everyone was a joy to work with. Susan and her team are absolutely amazing and beyond professional. Between the beauty of the venue and the quality of the people you cannot go wrong with Lost Mission.

I must say, that Lost Mission is the Best venue EVER. My husband and I were so pleased with everyone that was involved with our wedding day. The staff were so professional and were ALWAYS available if we had any questions and or concerns. The owners of the facility were very laid back and were also available for any of our needs. The day of our wedding was perfect. The drapes in the reception were "breathtaking" as well as the firewall. You may pay more than expected but it SO worth it. If we had to do it all over again, I would not change one thing. I would DEFINITELY recommend LOST MISSION to any new brides out there. It is a day we will never forget and our pictures were Amazing thanks to all the beautiful features at Lost Mission...... Thanks Again Susan for an Unbelievable wedding and reception.

This venue is absolutely beautiful! There is a wonderful, romantic chapel onsite and a large reception hall with adjoining large patio. It was perfect for my daughter and her fiancé who wanted a place with a Texas Hill Country ambiance. The staff are extremely helpful in ensuring that every detail for your event goes smoothly.

We both loved this amazing venue!!! It was very much worth every penny. Our guests had a great time and for me it was completely stress free. Susan was amazing and incredibly helpful. The venue certainly sells itself and it fit us perfectly. The firewall and patio were a huge hit with our guests and everyone keeps telling me what an amazing ceremony and reception it was. The ambiance that it has, especially at night, is unbelievable.

My husband (fiancé at the time) and I were looking for a place in the Hill Country that reflected who we are and where we come from. The minute we stepped onto Lost Mission’s property we felt at home. My husband and I were married September 15, 2012 out at Lost Mission and it was the picture-perfect wedding for us. From start to finish Susan was always there to answer any questions and help with whatever she could. With the help of Lost Mission’s staff and all of our other wonderful vendors, my husband and I had a wonderful wedding planning experience and one of the most memorable nights of our lives.

Lost Mission is such a perfect wedding venue. Susan and the staff is what you can call TEAM WORK!! They make sure everyone is taken care of. The ambiance there is so perfect which makes for a beautiful wedding. My husband and I had the perfect wedding and will never forget that day!

Lost Mission is a beautiful wedding venue and I absolutely loved having my wedding there. However I will say that it is very easy to go over budget at this venue, there are a lot of hidden fees, and this added a lot of stress to my wedding planning process. However, the chapel is absolutely beautiful, especially for brides who want to get married in a church but not necessarily the church that they grew up it. It was a very unique and wonderful venue to have a large wedding, just be prepared to go over your budget.

My husband and I got married at Lost Mission on 9/17/11. Although it is a beautiful place, the owner and manager ruined the mood for me, my husband & my parents by demanding the final check immediately after our ceremonyat even though the manager had previously confirmed that we could submit the payment the following Monday. In the manager's words, 'we dont want y'all to deal with finances on your wedding day.' The owner attempted to drive my dad, the father if the bride, 15 miles away to get his checkbook. To sum up our experience with the owner and manager of Lost Mission: dishonesty, extreme lack of professionalism, very poor customer service to say the least, and way too expensive especially for how you will be treated as a customer. We have chosen focus on the positive memories from our wedding night, but I hope this message will prevent other happy couples from having to go through what we did. They got their money because I had a check in my purse, but my dad almost missed the beginning of his daughter's reception, a moment that you can not get back.
