Wedding Date: 9/21/2013
The week of our wedding Michelle was incredible. In a few words I would describe her as calm, effective and organized with a very sunny disposition. She has all the connections you will need for any Hamptons event and is well respected by her peers.
Throughout the process she had lots of creative ideas and gave accurate aesthetic assessments of my ideas in order to keep me focused - a very important skill! Michelle was also excellent at maintaining notes and contracts between 8-10 different vendors.
Our wedding was held on our private property that just barely fit our intended guest list so the whole event required careful mapping, planning and timing for everything to work. We also chose to provide transportation to and from three different hotels, adding to the intricacy of the event. Michelle handled everything beautifully and I never felt for a minute that she was lost or confusing our event plans for another client’s (which I imagine is very difficult!).
I’ll admit I was likely one of the more detail-oriented brides she’s come across, and I could not count over a year how many emails went between us. She never showed one ounce of feeling pestered or worn out. She is very patient and sweet. That being said, I would say Michelle’s most surprising skill was, on the day of the wedding, "turning it up a notch" when necessary to get people where they need to be and to move things along. She is nice about it though, and people do what she says!
If anything went wrong the entire day, I still do not know about it.
The only hiccup was the weather, with a clear forecast turning to 80% chance of rain the day of the wedding. She was on the phone with me at 7am on the morning of the wedding arranging for another tent to put up! The weather then changed again and we chose the move the ceremony back outside to another part of the property. Michelle and her team executed the change in just a few hours. In the end, it looked like the added tent and the new ceremony site were the plan all along. It looked beautiful. During the wedding, Michelle's assistants were so busy working that I hardly saw them at all, except for a few sweet moments when one followed me holding a glass of wine for me to sip while my husband and I took some “creative” pictures (she held it for me and brought it over between shots), and later when the other remembered and ran my bouquet over to me right before we entered the reception tent. Just little things that made me feel like multiple people were looking out for us all day.
All in all, I highly recommend Unforgettable Hamptons Events. You will be well looked after.
Wedding Date: 6/2/2012
From the moment I first spoke with Michelle on the phone, I knew that the wedding my now husband and I had been planning would be as wonderful as we had imagined. Michelle gave us the greatest gift possible: we were able to be guests at our own wedding. We had an outdoor reception and there were a few things that went wrong (vendors not delivering appropriately, etc.) and Michelle handled that seamlessly - neither my husband or I were even aware that she had put out little fires. Above all else, Michelle's elegance, class, and commitment to making the wedding day run smoothly truly sets her apart. She is easy to be around and she is comfortable keeping things running without EVER being "in the way". I can't recommend her more highly. She took every detail we had planned - everything from hand lettered, wood place cards to hand sewn pillows - and treated the details as if they were those of her own wedding. Everything was done with care, consideration, and a genuine quality not found in most people, much less a wedding planner. Michelle took care of all the details so that my husband and I were able to see the big picture. We were able to pause, take in the moment, be present, and enjoy our friends and family all while enjoying being husband and wife for the first time all because Michelle took care of everything else.

Michelle has been planning my families events for years. So when my fiance popped the question she was of course one of the first people I called and the only person I would ever consider to plan this very important day. She helped me find the perfect dress, venue, floral arrangements and cake. I was able to enjoy my engagement because I knew our day was in the hands of a tried and true professional. Even if I didn't have a full time career I could not have planned a more perfect day. Michelle goes above and beyond the call of duty, she leaves no stone unturned and is meticulous when it it comes to the details. She knew what was important to us and she delivered. She gave us one of the best gifts, a stress-free, beautiful day and the ability to enjoy it with our family and friends.

Michelle Wiedemuth is magic. WE hired her well into our planning when we suddenly realized that we could not go further without the hands and heart of an expert who would tie things all together both during the process and the night of. Michelle came into the picture and it was as if we had known her for years, that she knew all the major figures involved and was fully prepared to take on every aspect of planning and supervising. She was perfect....far beyond our expectations and all done with the most professional and personal touches. Her energy is endless and she is the most delightful person to include in a wedding party. She literally feels like one of the family and projects that kind of sincerity into every aspect of her work. She is protective, positive, persistent and perfectionistic in only the nicest of ways. Having her in charge made a huge difference....WE all were able to have the best worry free time and the event was a hug success.
